People eating outdoors

Our mission is to get people outside and into their yards. For us, that means maximizing your space and extending the comfort of indoors, out.

Landscapes for life.

Life in a suburban neighbourhood has all kinds of benefits. You get away from the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle and you can often get a bigger home with a bigger yard for less money. But let’s face it. You’re busy with life – whether work, community, family or all three – and you’d love to have a vibrant outdoor space for you to relax, play, or entertain in. Something that fits your everyday and adds value to your home.

So why Mapleridge? You may have heard the expression “there is no project too big or too small”. While we can handle projects of all sizes, there’s a certain range where we’ve got the most experience and can deliver the most value. The majority of our work is in suburban neighbourhoods. That has us typically working with lot sizes less than half an acre.

And that’s what makes Mapleridge so unique. Our award-winning design, and durable, well-crafted installation is completely accessible for homeowners looking for some simple refreshing enhancements or those who are ready to remake the whole property. While we can build a luxurious backyard retreat, we’re just as happy to transform a small, poorly used space into a renewed backyard. From a simple refresh to a complete redesign, we are most comfortable in your typical suburban backyard and deliver great value there - every time.

We believe the benefits of spending time outdoors is huge. But we’re not all boyscouts. You’d get more out of your outdoors if it was more inviting, more comfortable. With Mapleridge, you’ll find the landscape you want, a landscape that fits, a landscape for life.

Company History

After more than 10 years working in the landscape industry, Tim Sieders founded Mapleridge Landscapes in 2002. The first "shop" was Tim's home garage in Hamilton, from which they could serve the larger Golden horseshoe area.

In 2005 the shop moved to a farm in rural Ancaster to have more space to manage the two crews and six staff. The company continued to grow and in 2013 the Sieders family moved their home to a 4 acre property on the outskirts of Ancaster, ON. There they found space to park the many trucks, various equipment and to build a large shop.

Mapleridge currently has six fulltime crews running from April-November, employing 15-20 staff. Steady growth plans aim to add a crew each season moving forward. Winter crews are also busy operating the 5 plow trucks, multiple skidsteers and walks crews for plowing and salting.
