To our Valued Clients,

These are certainly unprecedented times! We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and making decisions based on government recommendations. Effective end of business day March 24, we have temporarily halted our field operations. Despite all of this, our office team is working remotely to serve the needs of our customers. We will continue creating beautiful landscape design plans, we are holding sales meetings remotely, and we are actively planning for an accelerated schedule upon our return to work. We eagerly anticipate breaking ground on your projects again on April 6! To those clients who already have a project in the schedule with us, please know that we will keep you updated and will advise you of any schedule changes. Please reach out to us with your encouragement, feedback, or concerns — we look forward to hearing from you!

Not a space was left untouched on this unique property, situated at the corner of two busy streets. The client specified that they wanted to be able to entertain large groups, however they did not want to be on display. The design layout was a challenge, as there were a lot of details to incorporate into a fairly tight space.

More than
three wishes.

The lot is an irregular shape and being a corner lot, privacy was top of mind. Their wish list included a pool, a hot tub, a covered area for entertaining and grilling, lots of patio space and a more attractive front entrance. Pre-cast pool coping and patios were used in order for the budget to allow for natural stone features such as the feature walls, grill island and fireplace.

Mixing the old
with the new.

We had landscaped the clients’ previous property in a natural rustic style, however ten years later their tastes had matured to be more formal. Clean lines, formal water features, feature walls, and natural stone along with a simple color palette achieved the feeling and look of a formal landscape while the native planting, timber-frame pavilion and simple cabana kept the easy, natural feel of their past.

A grand entrance.

On-street parking for guests is an issue, so the space was maximized using a circular driveway, incorporating a mixture of pavers to provide style and texture. A grand entrance was achieved using natural stone landings and formal plantings, which soften the expanse of driveway and balance the imposing size of the house to the street. The front landing and driveway inlays were designed to match the existing arch features of the house. The project was completed with low voltage lighting, irrigation and a fully automated exterior sound and entertainment system.
